Self-Care Tool: Tarot
Tarot cards have been a tool I have been utilizing in my daily self-care practice for quite some time now.
Every morning I perform a daily spread, pulling three cards and using the imagery to intuitively cultivate an awareness around my present self, what I will encounter and the outcome that could possibly transpire.
When I reflect on how I am showing up in the present, and how I can navigate what may come up in a way that works in alignment with my present self, I feel more confident when hurdles arise and I can impact the outcome more confidently in a way that aligns with my values.

If you are local to Connecticut, come join us at Riverfront Park in Portland, CT for an afternoon with community to encourage, love and support one another.
We will meditate as a group, share from the heart, tap into ourselves and our togetherness, set intentions, practice gratitude and learn new holistic tools we can use for our own mental and emotional wellness.

At Our Weekly Check-In Hour:
Last night, Sentinel of the Rain Naomi Wells hosted our Check-In Hour. She led us through a four part mudra meditation where we held hand signs for four minute intervals.
We spoke of our bodies and how we are good to them, and also how we are not so good. Reflecting on our physical vessels helped us to gain presence and clarity of our mental, emotional and physical well-being and how we can improve our health accordingly.
Some questions Naomi asked us last night are:
-What do I do to show my body love?
-What is something I do to perpetuate hate within my body?
-How can I show my body more love?
We can’t wait to see you next Thursday at 8pm est for our next Check-In Hour hosted by Chris!
Remember, if it’s your first time and you are nervous to join, you can always hop on with no video or audio and just tune in. Just showing up is doing the hardest part, but it is so worth it for you to show up for yourself and do something good for your emotional + mental well-being.
